Island Lošinj

Losinj

The Lošinj archipelago abounds with picturesque places characterized by a unique healing climate offering year-round enjoyment. The archipelago is characterized by healing properties and a mild Mediterranean climate with more than 2,500 sunny hours per year. Around 1,200 various plant species grow on these islands, 600 of which grow on the island of Unije, an islet of only 17 kilometers in area.Not many archipelagos can boast such figures.

The natural climatic conditions producing wondrous healing properties will leave no one feeling indifferent. The pleasant Lošinj microclimate that positively affects the health is one of the reasons why the guests who have once visited the Lošinj archipelago always gladly return.

We have developed over 220 kilometers of walking trails for you. Along these trails, you can encounter guests from all over the world. To wake up in the morning, it is enough to fill your lungs with the morning air and take a walk with the first rays of the sun. If you opt for some other physical activity, such as jogging or biking, you will be able to enjoy fragrant walking trails, beautiful landscapes, view spots and coves.

Places to visit

Mali Lošinj

Positioned in the August Bay, the biggest closed bay of the island, and with 7000 inhabitants, today it is the biggest island town in the Adriatic.

Veli Lošinj

Tall houses jut out around the harbour line while luxurious villas with beautiful gardens nestle nearby, creating a picturesque backdrop for this pretty town.

Nerezine

Nerezine is the starting point on the tourist trail for the ascent to Osoršćica and it is not without reason that it has been proclaimed the most beautiful island mountain in the Adriatic.

Osor

A town, which is simultaneously history and a museum, becomes a unique open-air stage of rich cultural events during the summer months, the most important being Osor Musical Evening.

Punta Križa

Punta Križa is a national park rich in flora and fauna.
